Handcrafted Lighting, Vertical Garden and an Eclectic Green Room The BrandStar studio renovation is really starting to shape up, thanks to some forward thinking companies and a great design team. With their start in aviation, Lumicor is known for creating one of a kind lighting that are cost effective and sustainable. The company has created gorgeous ceiling panels for the lobby and halls, and even provided cafe tables for the prep kitchen that really highlight the beauty of BrandStar’s new and improved studio. FSB made sure the studio is up to code with their germ-reducing door designs and attractive handles, and Garden on the Wall completed their finalizing touches on their various installations. The green couch that inspired designer Heidi Pettee has set the tone for much of the eclectic decor, and with the help of Ryan and Russ, her vision was able to come to life.

After all, it’s one of the first impressions for visitors, and the last room people see before they go on air. Enter interior designer Heidi Pettee, who served as Senior Creative Director for Ralph Lauren stores. Heidi finds a green couch, chairs from a vintage store and some one-of-a-kind vinyl wallpaper, carrying out an eclectic design that meshes with the lobby’s decor — thanks to some great work from construction guys Ryan and Russ.

Lumicor Adds Beauty and Sustainability to BrandStar Studio The ladies from Lumicor stop by to talk about the gorgeous light ceiling panels in the BrandStar studio’s lobby, the wall protection throughout the halls, and even the cafe tables used in the prep kitchen. Lumicor’s roots are in aviation, so naturally they ensure the textiles used in their products involve plenty of thought, testing, and sustainability. Each design is hand laid — so no two pieces of Lumicor lighting are the same.
An Incredible, All-Natural Vertical Indoor Garden In two quick days, the Garden on the Wall crew framed the BrandStar studio lobby, brought in the 16 prepped panels and blended the seams through a touch-up and micro-mossing process for a flawless finish. They also hung two similar pre-framed designs in the studios makeup room and in the first floor modular office suites. Their award-winning biophillic installations eliminate the hassle of living walls and are created using all-natural preserved plants. Because incorporating elements of nature has been proven to help decrease stress and increase the greater overall health and well-being of employees, Garden on the Wall installations can be found in many offices throughout the country.
